At Elevate Literacy Therapy, we are committed to providing high-quality, science-based literacy instruction in a supportive, student-centered environment. Below is information about our fees, payment expectations, and policies.
Session Fees & Scheduling
Literacy Therapy (1:1 sessions): $50 per hour
Small Group Literacy Therapy: Please contact us for details on availability and pricing
Sessions are typically 1 hour each, four days per week, and we follow the Academy School District 20 calendar for holidays, breaks, and professional development days. This ensures that therapy aligns with your child’s school schedule.
Payment Policy
Payment is expected at the time of each session.
Accepted form of payment: Venmo.
Families may also choose to prepay for multiple sessions if desired.
Receipts and statements are available upon request.
Literacy Screening
Literacy screenings provide insight into a child’s current reading skills and learning profile. Each screening includes a 2-hour, one-on-one session using targeted literacy assessments to evaluate foundational reading skills such as phonological awareness, decoding, fluency, and spelling. Parents receive a clear, written summary of results and a follow-up meeting to review findings and answer questions.
Literacy Screening Fee: $150 (due at the time of booking)
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
1:1 Sessions
Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Late cancellations or missed sessions: Sessions canceled with less than a 24-hour notice may be billed in full, as preparation and
scheduling is reserved specifically for your student.
Rescheduling: We will do our best to accommodate schedule changes whenever possible.
Group Sessions
Cancellations: Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if your student cannot attend.
Late cancellations or missed sessions: Because group sessions involve multiple students, late cancellations may still be billed in full, as the session is reserved and planned in advance.
Make-up sessions: Group sessions cannot be made up individually unless arranged in advance.
Attendance concerns: If a student regularly misses group sessions, we may discuss switching to 1:1 sessions or adjusting the schedule to better meet their needs.
Note: Therapy follows the Academy School District 20 calendar. Consistent attendance is essential for progress.
